more information

  • The route is 100% accessible to wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. For safety reasons and visibility we will prioritise wheelchair users at the front of the parade (please arrive 30 minutes prior to setting off.

  • We have an event photographer on the day, if you see Steph (she/her) and don't want to be photographed please let her know. In large crowds it is difficult to pick out individuals so please wear hats/glasses/masks if you don't wish to be recognised. If you do not wish to be photographed at all please march in the back of the protest.

  • Dogs on leads are very much welcome! Small dogs may need to be carried in dog-safe bags or backpaks. Please bring plenty of water for your humans and furry friends.

Please be aware it is considered incredibly dangerous to walk your dog over 25'C, if temperatures rise this high we will unfortunately need to turn away those with dogs.

  • We are in talks with St John's ambulance to provide first aid. Please look out for stewards in hi-vis who will be able to point you in the nearest direction of a first aider.

There will be a permanent safe space at The Proud Trust (The Proud Place LGBT+ Community Centre, 49-51 Sidney St, Manchester M1 7HB) with water, snacks, and a quiet space to decompress.
